What a spotless place is Tokyo

I took a trip to Tokyo recently and the first thing that struck me was it was spotless. I mean absolutely tidy (well almost)

I managed to get a few pictures that I hope you like on the one day I managed to spend walking the streets

were close to my hotel. Construction on this 70,000 sqm landscape garden was began in 1629 by members of the Mito Tokugawa family.

The garden has a series of walks over bridges and around ponds and constructed hills, with vistas of miniature versions of famous landscapes of Japan and China.

The most popular times of year are late November (when the leaves change color) and late February (when plum flowers are in bloom), but I was there in January so a lot of it was closed

The pictures in this section are taken with my E-30 Olympus camera with the 14-54 lens.
