The River Severn in between South Wales and Devon & Cornwall has the second Highest tides in the world.

It's a beautiful place right along it's length and we have the priveledge of living on it's north Side in South Wales

A large area of irt is known as the welsh Jurassic coast, but in reality there are rocks from the Carboniferous, Triassic and Jurassic ages wth spectactular AND VERY DANGEROUS cliffs. please admire them from a safe distance as there has been at least one recent death from a rock falling which sadly hit someone sunbathing beneath the vertical wall.

for information about the geology along here I strongly recommend the The South Wales Geologists Association leaflets about Dunraven and Ogmore as well as the one about Porthcawl.

The pictures in this section are taken with my E-510 and E-30 Olympus and my more recent EM1-MkII cameras with a selection of lenses.
