Cardiff, capital city of Wales and my home since 1984

A wonderfully green and open city thanks to the Bute family who donated so much land to the people of Cardiff and plastered it with covenants to stop short minded councillors selling it off or covering it with roads

Some of my favorite places are the Castle and the Parks, especially Bute park which you can see in these pictures

Back in 1984 I walked or cycled through the park every day on my way to work in the National Museum of Wales

Since then I've moved away, but I still enjoy getting back there from time to time

A real hidden gem for those wanting an even quieter walk is the Cathays cemetary which has some fascinating gravestones as well as interesting wildlife

The pictures in this section are taken with my E-510 and E-30 Olympus cameras with a selection of lenses.
